Hyderabad, February 5th, 2020: The annual cultural festival of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad, is back with a new edition scheduled to be hosted from February 6th, 2020. Named ‘Chrysalis,’ a two-day long extravaganza will be held at the premises of VJIM in Bachupally, Hyderabad.
From academic events like Dhana Dhana Dhan – Finance-specific, Kriya Vikraya – Marketing-specific, Netratva – HR-specific, Karyaneeti – Operations-specific, exuding and enlightening knowledge, to an array of informal events like Nrityalaya – dance, Aalapana – singing, Navyatanga – ramp walk, and Alankarana – face painting, Chrysalis has it all. With literary events like Bollywood Trivia, Sherlock Holmes, Sau ka Savaal, Yuva Saadhak – CEO of the year, and Paricharcha – debate, the annual college fest promises a fun-filled time to all.
Chrysalis is not limited to only the faculty members or students of the institute; it welcomes and seeks participation from the whole of Hyderabad to be a part of this cultural event. VJIM, like every year, is hoping to witness registrations from over 10+ colleges and a total footfall of approximately 150+ individuals, including students, staff members, and faculties from colleges across the city.
Commenting on the upcoming edition of Chrysalis, Dr. Ch. S. Durga Prasad, Director, Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), said, “This cultural festival is a great opportunity to showcase skills as well as witness exceptional talent that is otherwise lesser-known. The students, along with faculty members, have been preparing for Chrysalis for many months. We are all eagerly waiting for the event to commence and also looking forward to meeting new faces from different institutes. Our only aim to host such cultural events is to give a boost to the students to step out of their comfort zones, academic environment, and overall competitive atmosphere to experience a different side of college life. After all, it is through these experiences that the students get to make memories and preserve for a lifetime.”
The inaugural ceremony of Chrysalis will be held in the morning on the day of the event. Ace industry experts, visiting faculty, principal, and members from the management board, among others, would play the role of judges’ panel this year.
