About the Program :
The 2-Year Full-Fledged PGDM in Agribusiness Management at VJIM prepares students for leadership careers in agriculture, food business, agri-tech, rural marketing, supply chain, and agribusiness sectors through industry-oriented learning and practical exposure.
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
PGDM-ABM – INDUSTRY VISIT :
Industrial visits provide Agribusiness Management students with practical exposure to how agribusiness enterprises function in real time. Students visit food processing units, seed companies, dairy plants, fertilizer factories, and agri-startups to understand production processes, supply chain operations, quality control, and marketing strategies. These visits bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices, helping students relate theoretical concepts such as input–output marketing, logistics, and value chain management to real-world operations.
Guest Lecture :
Guest lectures bring industry experts, agripreneurs, policymakers, and alumni to share their insights and experiences with students. They expose students to emerging trends, innovations, and challenges in sectors like agri-finance, agri-tech, farm mechanization, and sustainable agriculture. Such sessions enhance students’ understanding of current market realities, offer valuable career guidance, and encourage networking with professionals from diverse agribusiness domains.
Rural Immersion :
The Rural Immersion Program is an experiential learning initiative under the Agri-Business Management curriculum that exposes students to India’s rural economy. By engaging with farmers, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and cooperatives, students gain real-world insights into farming systems, value chains, and rural entrepreneurship.They explore challenges such as credit access, marketing, and technology adoption, while developing empathy, leadership, and innovative thinking to design sustainable, inclusive, and market-driven agribusiness solutions.

ELIGIBILITY :
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% as per AICTE.
Students graduating in 2026 can also apply subject to:
A Study certificate from the principal of the college.
Final mark sheets are to be submitted by 31st July, 2026.
Valid National Level Test Score with minimum 50 Percentile: CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA / GMAT.
