Hyderabad is billed as one of the best cities in India to study, work and settle. It is a city which has been accepting people with open arms for centuries. Hyderabad has been a place of trade since EONs; the city has witnessed and welcomed many people from across the world and is a city with a warm soul and cosmopolitan nature.

Many factors could be attributed to the rise of Hyderabad to be one of the best cities to stay such as its cosmopolitan culture, home to big MNCs, enormous opportunities for startups, and hub for many reputed colleges.

Home To Global Giant Companies

Outside the United States headquarters is Hyderabad, home to many large companies such as

  • Salesforce’s only Centre of Excellence and largest facility outside San Francisco is in Hyderabad, which employs over 2,000 people.
  • Micron launched its largest development center in Hyderabad in October 2019, with over 2,500 employees.
  • Uber has CoE in Hyderabad, the first in Asia and the fifth worldwide.
  • State Street, which administers 40 per cent of the US mutual fund market assets, set up its most significant presence globally in Hyderabad in November 2011 and has more than 3,000 people working, he said.
  • Development Bank of Singapore has its only technology development center outside of Singapore in Hyderabad working with a head count of 3,000 people.
  • Legato, Intel, Fiat Chrysler, Providence, Mass Mutual, Goldman Sachs, ZF, UBS, Mphasis, Pepsico have set up operations in the city.
  • Microsoft’s largest R&D campus is located in the city of Pearls outside the US.
  • Home to other US-based IT firms like Microsoft, Motorola, Google, Oracle, Yahoo, Facebook, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Samsung, HP, Amazon and much more.
  • Subsequently, companies such as Facebook, Qualcomm, Accenture, Wells Fargo, Xilinx, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro and other companies have scaled up their operations significantly in Hyderabad,

 

Excellent Infrastructure

According to a research report from PropTiger, Hyderabad has overtaken Bengaluru and Chennai in residential demand and supply!

Hyderabad has significantly lower real estate costs and excellent Infrastructure compared with other metros such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi NCR.

The Govt. is also working on expanding the city limits by introducing Satellite townships on the outskirts of the city in a well-planned manner.

 

Rich And Varied Heritage

Hyderabad is a city with a supersolid soul attached to itself, its legendary heritage, rich, varied culture, and historical monuments. The city is steeped in 400 years old culture, an amazing place to revive and rejuvenate and take a liking to history, culture, and architecture.

 

Bustling With Opportunities

As per an analysis by Indeed, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai are the top three cities for work, and companies prefer to hire more talent in these three cities.

Global multinationals collaborating with many Indian companies have made it possible for the city to be in favor of the job market.

Even because of the pandemic and reduction in economic activity, the labor market remains unaffected in Hyderabad.

Many companies have started setting up their Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in Hyderabad today. These centers will be the driving force of growth and help create global products and solutions.

 

Tech City of India

With the evolution of the IT Hub called Cyberabad, Hyderabad is the global center of IT.

The area was primarily created to promote IT Infrastructure with several IT zones. Telangana Minister K. T. Rama, KTR, recently stated that Hyderabad had overtaken the silicon city of India regarding jobs within the IT sector. He also pointed out that in terms of office space absorption, Hyderabad won South India’s race by beating Bengaluru.

He also pointed out that IT exports rose from Rs 57,000 crore to Rs 1.83 Lakh crore in the last eight years in Telangana.

 

Home To Various Sectors

Hyderabad, which is already established in information technology and pharma, is now seeing tremendous growth in defense, aerospace, and life sciences, and since it has all these industries are flourishing in the city, there are plenty of opportunities for students to learn industry-oriented courses, to get hands-on experience, undergo career-based training, and even work professionally in the abundance of industries.

 

Safety And Security

Hyderabad ranks second in the entire country to have a disaster response force! Law and order are thoroughly maintained in the city. More than 10 lakh CCTV cameras are installed across Hyderabad as a safe city initiative to ensure the 24*7 safety and security of the people. If you are moving to Hyderabad, you will find it comforting to know that the National Crime Records Bureau has produced a survey which shows the decreasing rate of crime and no acts of communal violence in the past ten years in the city.

 

Transportation

When moving to a new city, especially a metro city, traffic is always one of the criteria we ponder. But with Hyderabad, you don’t have to worry as the city has world-class transportation around the clock.It has cost-effective, efficient and reliable bus services and MMTS train services.

More than 4 lakh people use the metro rail network every day. Metro rail connects important parts of the city and makes it a comfortable and reliable means to travel easily. Apart from this, you have other reliable means of transport, such as auto-rickshaws, Ola and Uber, which are easily available to commute to different places. In addition, there is Uber auto and bikes to make it simpler.

Hyderabad has definitely grown a lot over a couple of years, but that is not it for the city. It’s, in fact, just the beginning; big companies such as Uber are setting up a $49 Million international office, an established Aerospace facility by Boeing and Tata, and Amazon’s largest warehouse is also in the making in Hyderabad. So what else can be said about Hyderabad? The vibe of the city is perfect to a tee.
