As a part of the Hindu legacy, the birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated in the midnight of September 4, 2015 at the Vignana Jytohi Institute of Management‘s hostel. The Idol of the god was decorated with flowers and various other hand crafted, pretty decors.

When the clock stroke midnight, the celebration unfurled. Guptha, a first year PGDM student played the role of Lord Krishna and the female students participated as his playmates. Everyone built a small circle around him and started Dandiya Raas.

With the smell of the incense sticks, pot pourri, fresh flowers, chandan and ghee, the atmosphere turned completely serene. Devotional songs added to the purity in the air.
