It all started at 5.00 pm on 11th November, 2015. The hostel premises was amazingly shining from the rays of the diyas and it smelled of marigold flowers everywhere. Everyone on campus wore their ethnic best and had their smiles adding to the beauty of the evening. The spirit was infectious. The puja was held according to the vidhi, and Prasad was distributed among everyone present.

Noiseless crackers followed the prasad distribution and there were sweets to add more flavour to the beautiful evening. Everyone posed for the cameras and warm wishes and prayers floated in the air. The ceremony closed with lip-smacking dinner and more fireworks. VJIM glowed like always!
