VJIM Hyderabad celebrated NOVATOFIESTA, Freshers’ week from 24th July to 28th July. The freshers had a lot of activities and amusement throughout the week. The freshmen experienced some insane activities that kept them on their toes, they played amusing games, shared their tales and stories and welcomed each other to the life called VJIM, HYDERABAD!

Let’s have a glimpse of the celebrations-

Day 1: Fun Group Activities

What’s better than having fun all day long? Learning, making friends while having fun! First day was scheduled for activities that was designed to employ intelligence, teamwork. As expected the day happened to be a great start for Freshman’s new life while they learned new skill, teamwork and acquainted.

Day 2: Group day

Retro Fans, Magicians, Scientists, Nature Lovers and Patriots and more. On day 2, the students assembled themselves in teams of choice, backed with their theme and ideas to unite them into one. The event then appeared to FB as a competition, where the most liked team won the title. Well responded by the Freshmen, this was a great day.

Day 3: Ethnic Day

The whole school appeared like one big fair of colours. All the Freshmen, seniors and the faculty joined the day endorsing Indian Ethnic wear. Freshmen walked the ramp and the seniors and faculty voted to choose the best dressed Beauty and the Boy.

Day 4: Shortlisting the candidates for Miss. & Mister Fresher

On the day, the Freshmen were evaluated by the seniors for the first round of Miss and Mister Fresher. Tasks were passed to the Freshers and they had to perform to impress the seniors. Shortlisted Freshmen were inducted to the next round.

Day 5: Fresher’s Day.

The last day was most happening day of the whole week. Freshmen, seniors all rolled to the party. Even after all apprehensions and hesitations, the freshers were all set for a phenomenal day of unwinding. The seniors and freshers performed dance, songs, mimicry, comedy acts etc.

Highlight of the day was Miss & Mister Fresher event. The Freshmen chosen in first round appeared for a Question-Answer round. Among 20 freshmen participating in second round, 6 were elected for the third and the final round. 3 boys and 3 girls, coupled in pair walked the ramp before the judges who chose Miss Fresher & Mister Fresher.

After all the fun and frolics, prize distribution was conducted and students were awarded for their participation in the activities. The day closed with bombastic DJ night.

During the week, everybody had a great and memorable time. We wish that the freshmen spend a great time at VJIM Hyderabad before the walk out of hereafter two years to become a leader.
