Communication Club

Vision: “To actively promote the highest standards of communication and creativity.

Mission: “It aspires to become one of the major avenues from which students acquire, learn and practice their English communication skills.”

Office Bearers

There would be a committee comprising seven students headed by the president of the club which would decide the activities and the schedule for the activities to be held. The president is free to form sub-committee for delegation of work. The schedule of the activities has to be ratified by the moderators and the director.

The role of the faculty moderators would be limited to that of a facilitator; the onus of holding the meetings and activities of the club would be on the committee.

Rules and Regulations

  1. No student is allowed to bunk classes in the name of Finance Club activities.
  2. Membership is purely voluntary and we strongly advice the students to associate with the club only if they are interested.
  3. Academic activities are a priority to club activities.
  4. Any activities being organized in the name of the club should be ratified by the director and the moderators.

Who can be a member?
Students who want to improve their communication skills further.

Ethno Elite - The HR Club

Vision: “To make holistic Marketing Managers, who are proficient in all aspects of Marketing.”

Activities:

  1. Industry Personnel lectures
  2. Advertising activity
  3. Research paper presentation
  4. Marketing Games

Who can be a member?
Any student, who wants to pursue a career in marketing.

Structure of the Club: There will be two student coordinators, one each from both the batches.

How to become a Member?
Please submit the required form, and submit to Faculty coordinator.

Finance Club

Vision: “Zero Day Billability for every student placed in finance”

Mission: “To wedge the gap between theory and practice by creating learning opportunities outside the classroom”

Objectives:

  1. To enhance the employability skills of the students.
  2. To inculcate interest in the area of finance by building a strong knowledge base for students.
  3. To help hone analytical skills through activity based learning.
  4. To make learning easy by leveraging the knowledge of the peers.

  1. News Analysis Sessions.
  2. Quarterly Result Analysis Sessions.
  3. Analysis of Research Report/Credit Rating Report.
  4. Building a database of questions for interviews and Strengthening financial concepts.
  5. Developing a source directory for online information.
  6. Book Reviews
  7. Weekly Quizzes
  8. Organizing movie shows
  9. Monthly Stock Pick Competitions
  10. IPO/FPO Analysis

Operations Club

Vision: To build and sustain the corporate relationship with industry

Mission: To generate Summer Internships. To generate and pursue short-term projects related to Operations Management. To conduct co-curricular activities in the area of Operations Management.

Activities:

  1. Seminar
  2. Guest Lectures
  3. Conferences
